A puzzle game for horror enthusiasts
The Man From The Window is a free game developed by Applaxe. This horror simulation follows the terrifying adventure of a mother rabbit and her son. Both characters are stuck inside their house and must make their way out by solving puzzles and avoiding, at all costs, the mysterious entity lurking from outside the window.
Similar to Granny, The Man From The Window is full of suspenseful elements that will keep you on your toes. You must explore the disquieting and evocative environment in search of clues to help the characters escape the foreboding danger that inevitably awaits them.
The Man From The Window begins with Mommy rabbit finding her son frightened by the story he just read in his book. Mommy rabbit tries to reassure him that everything is only fictional. However, the vivid descriptions from the book have seemingly become a reality. They began to hear eerie noises, and soon thereafter, their suspicions were confirmed. There was indeed a man attempting to break into their home.
The game features spine-chilling atmospheric sound effects and a variety of puzzles. To escape from the scary man, you must explore the environment, solve riddles, and collect items to progress in the game. Keep in mind that you are only given five minutes to outsmart the terrifying man. Time is of the essence—if you are not analytical, you could easily be captured by the enemy.
The game incorporates role-playing dialogues to make it more interactive. It also boasts a user-friendly interface and easy controls. Besides these, the game provides a replayability function, allowing players to attempt various solutions to the puzzles until they succeed. The only notable flaw in the game is its visual aspect. The graphics are distinct and clear. However, the characters' movements are not smooth and harmonious.
Not for the faint of heart
The Man From The Window is a challenge for the most experienced horror fans and a great way to introduce newcomers to the horror genre. It will test each player's wits to solve puzzles and make their way through the different levels. It may have lacked originality in its concept, but it includes exciting and unexpected elements that will keep players engaged and surprised throughout the experience.
